A red nightdress in Santorini
I was wearing a red nightdress in a Hotel in Santorini. I was feeling quite tired that night. I had been wearing a red cocktail dress in a sunrise party. Pure red on all those white stones and walls. Santorini can be very white, in the area where I was staying (Oia), all the houses where white, white walls, door, furnitures. Some buildings had blue stripes and blue decorations which gave it all a very mediterranean look. Red was very powerful in this environment. Red was more powerful than ever. People even felt threatened by me. I felt how men very kind of afraid to start a conversation with me that evening. And at the same time they where immensely seduced by me and my outfit. I was like pure fire burning in the middle of the mediterranean sea. Fire inside water. Can you imagine how people where staring at me? The whites and blues and the blue sea stood there for peace and melancholy and good old times and calm conversations and peace and elegance.
A night without a dress
Actually I felt as if i was naked, as if I was spending the night without a dress without any dress at all. They where staring at me as if I was naked, as if my red outfit was completely transparent and they could see inside me. If the environment is calm, peaceful, boho-chic, cool, red creates a very strong impact. You have to know how to wear it and understand good it’s impact. Imagine you are in Mikonos, or Ibiza. Those islands also define the architecture with white and blue colours. A red dress there is a very powerful selection. In any case, I let you take a look between all the options of dresses available. Actually I started this post writing about red nightdresses. I love them. Red silk nightdresses. Only by wearing them , they make me feel confident. There is no place for sadness or regret. The world is our oyster and we are here to enjoy until the last minute.
